- Contains chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG), a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent which kills pathogenic Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
- Reduces microflora after one scrub and provides persistent antimicrobial activity up to six hours after scrubbing
