- Description
- 10 urine culture-paddles for the detection of bacteriuria and the presumptive identification of uropathogens
- The addition of polymixin in the CLED agar creates a selective medium for the growth of enterococci, staphlococci, proteus and yeast while preventing the growth of most e.coli, klebsiella, and enterobacter
- MacConkey agar is selective for the growth of gram negative bacteria
- The neutral red indicator included in the media causes the colonies of lactose fermenting bacteria to appear pink or red
- Included in the package are ten self-adhesive patient labels, and instructions for use, which includes the Colony Density Chart
