- The BD™ Westcott Biopsy needle is a 2-piece, thin-wall needle modified to include a slotted opening, measuring 2.2 mm in length located approximately 3 mm from the needle tip
- This needle can be used for many biopsy applications including that of pulmonary, hilar and mediastinal masses, as well as lesions in the liver, pancreas and other areas
- For direct percutaneous fine needle aspiration biopsy
- For histological, cytological and bacteriological sampling
